03 SO upgrade advice

Sorry I realize after the fact i posted in the wrong forum. Any one has any real good mpg or horsepower increasing advice. I do not need to go radical. Just some tweekin. I will also take advice on what not to do. Thanks in Advance!

If you want a simple Bomb to make the truck run alot better you can go the the PowerEdge EZ. It is a plug in box that will give you up to 65 HP. It will go fine with the stock transmission and you will be able to tow anything within reason. It will void your warranty if you take your truck to the dealer with it on. It is easy to remove and install so that shouldn't be a big deal.



First you will need to install guages. EGT and transmission temp guages are very important. The EGT guage will help you keep exhaust gas temps under control and can help save a turbo if you wait to shut it down once the temps are under 300*. With a box of any kind you can hit 1200* pretty easy if you push the truck kinda hard. I can hit 1200* on my wifes truck and it is stock.

I have another truck that has all the mods listed in my signature

on it. I have added injectors too. It is very fun to drive, like a corvette that weighs 7600 lbs. If you want to go this far you will need transmission upgrades. I had all of that type of work done by a company called DTT. They have great service and an outstanding product. If you want to know more about them they are listed in the Links.
