Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Lost power steering,took truck to Bill Breck Dodge in Tucson,AZ. They instructed me me my rack and pinon was bad,I couldn't't help but laugh,told the service ad visor he might want to check one more time!He came back with a price of 652. 00 to fix bad steering gear in box,I expected this to be fixed under warranty. He almost was happy to inform me my warranty ran out at 36,000 and my truck had 44,000. I told him I would take truck and declined repair. I had a local company rebuild steering box,gears were fine,problem was a piece of internal casting had cut internal seal. Problem fixed ,working great and cost 145. 00.
