'03 tow mirrow head replace

busted one of the tangs in the pivet head on my driver side '03 trailer tow mirrow. Are there any net stores that carry internal parts for these mirrows or will I have to go through a dealer for the whole arm. Thanks

I think you will have to buy the whole assembly, mirror and arm. They are not cheap. How do I know? I also had to wait 6 weeks to get a mirror and when I got it ,the new one was in worse condition than the one I broke. Good thing expensive tape held the old one together as it took another 6 weeks to get a good one.

Exactly whats broken inside the trailer tow mirror?



I just swapped out my passenger side trailer/tow mirror. Old one lost a meeting between it and an oak tree, no contest. Mirror shattered and so did plastic case, I guess everything else inside is OK. I could take it apart and see if that part is not broken.
