My apologies if this has already been covered elsewhere but I just discovered that the Mag-Hytec transmission oil pan presently on my '99 47RE will fit the new 48RE (they use the same filter as well). Good news for me as I am in the process of selling the old, in with the new, and want to salvage as many add-ons as I can. Pity about the fiberglass bed shell. Just wanted to share this in case anyone was wondering. Cheers!
