'03 under hood light - ?

Picked up the optional under hood light and wiring harness for the '04+ light group equipped trucks. Does anyone know if the plug exists on '03's? It's certainly not in the same location if it does (checked against my neighbors truck). The online wiring schematics exclude '03's. ???

03 shop manual picture shows it mounted on drive side of hood and only shows a splice into the harness on inside engine compartment bracket near firewall. The only connector is the one on the lamp itself. The picture shows a 30+ pin connector just around the corner on firewall that is part of the harness.

Later '03s (or was it all the way to the '04s?) were factory wired for availability of the optional light group. On those models, the connector should be there to plug the connector harness from the under-hood light into. Early '03s (like mine) don't have the connector and require you to tap a power source for the light (that's what I had to do).
