Intermittent Starting Problem

I bought this truck a few weeks ago and parts are arriving and are getting installed.
It has 253,000 kms 156,000 miles

Smarty JR, 4" flo-pro exhaust ( previous owner just had a 3" muffler and tailpipe installed), ATS ex manifold (stock cracked), Home Depot air box mod,
Boost and pyro, steering box stabilizer, intake horn, 2 mic filter, fluidampr, yet to be installed. Anything else I should look into?
I'm after reliability, ease of service, a little hp, and fuel economy.

I stole the waste gate solenoid off of my '03 as the wires were broke. I've changed fluids.

I'd like to get some centramatics as well but they're not ordered yet. 50 hp injectors would be sweet too but not in the budget at this time.

I plan on putting on a Falcan bale deck and pto hydraulic system on this truck as well.

Start saving some money for injectors . Better fuel filtration, I'm sur it has an intank pump in it . May want to check on the side of the filter housing if it's been removed they were problematic

Why did the previous owner go from a 4" OEM exhaust to a 3" one?

I had to do too much grinding to get the Centramatics to work on my 05, I'd go with tire beads instead.

I have centramatics on my '03 with no issues. They are a lot more $ for a dually. I have used balance beads in the past and find them a PITA.

Other owner was fixing up a few items on the cheap to sell the truck. He's not a diesel guy. I'm sure it's what the shop in town had on hand. My new 4" exhaust wasn't that expensive.

AH what all do you have done on your '05 now? I remembered you installing an Airaid MIT so I've ordered one of them too.

I've been trying to find a eaton manual transmission filter and can't seem to track one down. I could steal one off my old 92 but I'm out of NV4500 oil.

It took me about 10 tries of grinding and fitting to get the centramatics to fit on my truck with OEM wheels.

I have done all kinds of things :) Check out the link in my sig.
