I haven't been driving my Dodge that much in winter to keep it out of the nasty stuff. When I go to start it after about a week of sitting it fires right up but kind of stumbles for just a second and clears it's throat and its fine.
But if I drive it everyday or even let it sit for a day or two after driving it, it fires right up and no stumbling what so ever.
My question is this does the fuel system keep fuel under pressure all the time even when the motor is not running? And perhaps it bleeds off the pressurised fuel after sitting for a week and the stumbling is getting the air out of the system?
Or do I have something that is looking at going out in the fuel system or letting the pressurized fuel bleed off that needs to be replaced.
Thanks
