04.5 turbo

I have a stock turbo off of an 2004. 5, would it be do any to replace my factory H1C with it, the biggest thing im after is that i have a exhaust brake for the 04 turbo i want to use but dont want to shoot myself in the foot doing it.

Lots of people have done that upgrade.

You will spool very quick, and run a higher drive pressure ratio, but it will be an upgrade. Just keep it to 38 psi and below.

Should work quite well with some moderate fueling enhancements, and, give you the EB ability too boot. Its a pretty decent little turbo for these trucks.

You will probally need exahaust springs

I already have a set of +40hp injectors in the truck and the pump is turned up about 10 percent, and im planing to put in a set of Halmalton springs to keep up with upgrades i plan to make later.

Yeah springs will be required. The exhuast brake needs 60# springs, and really so does the HE351.
