04.5 with brake

Any one know why a new 6 speed with the brake does not work as well as the older ones with the 5 speed? May be a one time only, but this rig does not respond very will to brakeing with the exhaust system.

Look at the 2nd page of the brochure at the link below. Braking house power is directly related to RPM. Below 2000, and especially below 1500, it doesn't do much. Of course, this doesn't explain why it works differenty than you old truck.
