Let me start off by saying I don't know much about a/c's. All I know is I like it cold!! I started having the same problems as many of you all have had with cool air on driver side vents and not so cool air out of passenger side vents. I went down and bought a 12oz. can of freon and put it in. I now have cooler air @ 50 deg on recirculate. I would like it colder, any tips or suggestions? What should my low side pressure be at in order for a colder system? Also have any of you all tried any sort of a/c boosters and what were your thoughts? Thanks

50 degrees seems to be it. Tried the booster stuff. Did nothing to help. Its a design problem. Too small a condenser or evaporator or both

Call 1-800-992-1997 D. C. no help and lodge a formal complaint. Only takes a FEW minutes. I did and if others do maybe it will get their attention.

I thought i only had that problem..

Warm air out of pass side. The a/c unit seems to cycle on/off when it first starts, and the a/c clutch sometimes make a loud engagement noise when first started.

I'm out of warranty so i am living with it for now... .

I could have sworn the selling dealer said I had 7-70 but I got extened warranty stuff/info to purchase from DC that makes me believe I dont.

Mine works great now that I topped it off, 05 that had done the warmer on pass-side since new. Now it will freeze you out! 47 degrees on recirculate...

The a/c works great now that I added a can of freon. Could be a little colder but its better than it's ever been. How does one know if there is too much freon or not quite enough?

My 04 has never been touched since new, and the thing will freeze you out of house and home, everytime. I find myself having to back it off some or take out of Recirculate... The 02 really struggles in the 100+ weather, but will freeze you out any cooler... .
