04 Climate control problem

Air comes out dash no matter what setting it is on. Sometimes if I move knob back and forth between floor to dash, it will stay on floor. Most of time it just does what it wants. Yes it is under warranty, but I'm inpatient and everytime the dealer has my truck they scratch it or mess it up somehow.

i have the same problem. anyone have any ideas. mine isnt under warrenty and do not want to take it to the dealership if it will be an easy fix???

I have had simular problem that was repaired by replacing a vacuum control module. Not sure which one, had a repair shop fix it for me

My guess is a broken defrost door in the HVAC system. In my case the defrost door was broken, but it had no effect on the dash panel vents. It could be another door that is broken. Go here to see how I replaced the defrost door.
