04 fuel milage

I am considering purchasing a 2004 - 3500 4x4 quad cab, long bed.

The milage is around 62 K.

Does any one have feedback on fuel milage for this year/ model with out towing?

I am the one that can tell you. I have a 6sp. 4dr Quad 350. It is a 04. I also have a 14000 lb trailer. I hope it will do as good, compaired to running empty. O well I Will get to thefuel mileage. Running around town 18to19. On the road at 60mph, 23mpg. I know. Iwouldn"t have believe it either if I han't done it with a pencil.

I get 12-14 towing a 30ft. Wildcat 5th wheel, 16-18 locally and 21-22 on trips. I've gotten as high as 24 on a trip by staying under 60mph just to see what it'd do. I tried to post a copy of my milage spreadsheet but I guess you gotta be smarter than the equipment.

I have the 305/555 motor in my 2004. MPGs city/highway combined 17-18,highway driving 19-20 mpg,hand cal. coobie

14-15 around town. I have a fairly heavy foot. 20 on the highway

I get about 20 around town and 11 towing.

I only get 15 m. p. g. driving to work and back and thats with a few mods.
