Will alterations such as a bypass filter and fuel filter in front of the transfer pump void the factory warranty?

Depends on the dealer. If you throw an injector at 20k miles, I'd be willing to bet your dealer will void the warranty on the fuel system because you modified it (even though the modification was intended to increase longevity). Same with a bypass filter.



What I'm saying is, a jerk of a dealer will ALWAYS find a way to void a warranty if anything is non stock. Heck, if you waxed the vehicle and then had a turbo blow out on you they could say "vehicle was waxed by customer, resulting in small particles of wax being ingested, which abraded the compressor and caused the failure".
