Has anyone (ha ha) noticed how tight the calipers squeeze the rotors in a non brakeing state?? My goodness without the tire on for leverage, well they are just to tight.

I just had occation to drop all the drive shafts (slipped in a $6000. 00 Goerend transmission) and my youngest son (21yo, 6'2", 245lbs, bench pressed 525lbs while in high school) says " I'll bet if these brake weren't so tight you'd probably gain 2 miles to the gallon minimum!!". I came up from under that truck saying what are you talking about?? Well to make a short story long, How do I de-dodge my brakes??? They are to tight.

Is it a problem with the hydraulic boost system or are the calipers garbage.

All 4 axles are real close to equal as far as this problem is concerned. In fact I changed right rear caliper (from NAPA) only a month ago.

HELP!!!!!!!!!!
