I am going to order this week auto trans 4x4 larime H package anti spin diff

tow package and sun roof. just wondering if there is somthing that you all would recomend getting or not getting and price i should pay. the dealer that i am dealing with has said that he would give it to me for $500 above invoice

had another tell me that he would do it for $198 above but they are a 100mi away and i would rather keep it local if i can with out getting ripped off

IMO, it'd be worth the trip to Spokane to order from Butch at Dishman Dodge. You gotta ask for the "Big Bob" deal. $1,000 under invoice.

Or the tommeygun deal in St. Louis -- 3% under.

At the very least, your local dealer should do within $100 +- of invoice. If they won't do that, they're definately ripping you off. Just my $. 02.

Make sure you get the towing mirrors. Others didn't and regret it.

I'm pretty sure they're not part of the towing package.

Bob

yep, I regret it now, and I havent even towed anything with the truck yet. I will have tow mirrors on it before I tow for the first time.

If you do alot of driving i'd get the RB1 dealer installed navigation. I have the RB4 and really like it. don't have to bother writing down directions everywhere i want to go now just put the address in and hit ok. kinda pricey but not asking for directions again
priceless

Cap'n,

I also would strongly recommend tow mirrors. Also, most guys say to get the fold flat floor option, which makes it easy to haul stuff in the back seat area.

I have it and it's usefull for me to muffle a little of the buzz from my air bag

compressor that I mounted in one of the storage spots under the back seat. If you have a short little wife like I do, adjustable pedals might come in handy too (not that she ever drives my truck :) ).

Geez, I completely forgot about the load floor! I use mine so much I guess I was lulled into thinking everyone has it. I know better than that.

I have the same situation with the adjustable pedals. I made sure the truck had 'em and my wife has never driven the truck an inch.

I do wish I had the underhood light. I think it's part of the "light group".

I kind of wish I had fog lights. I couldn't tell you why though. I've never needed them.

I've enjoyed the satellite radio much more than I thought I would. Thought I'd use it only on long trips -- now use it for local traffic reports, the swing/jazz station, and the comedy station while waiting for the endless trains in our town to pass. There are a lot of opinions on which satellite system to get -- I got the Sirius because it was available from Dodge and included in the warranty when installed by the dealer.
