05' and 06' trucks

I read that DC is going back to the getrag transmission, my first gen truck had almost 300k and never had problem w/transmission. Other than the 5th gear on my 2nd gen I was wondering why they are going away from the nv4500 and 5600. I also heard they are boosting power and more importantly making a full crew cab, can anyone confirm this? I don't need the 4500 rumored to be on the way, but the full or maxi cab as their supposed to call it would be great. Thanks Bill

I too had a 92 with a gertag. Never had one problem with the trans or the clutch. 140,000 sold it and got a new 01, What a different. I had a big love affair with my 01 until some uninsured ***** totaled it.

because DC sold thier shares in New Venture Gear.



- The mega cab concept is nice for those that want one, but the rumor has it only available in a Short box. No good for me.

four wheeler magazine has a camo 2006 3500 in its most recent magazine on page 16 Not cool, headlights resemble dakota/durango as well as tailights, so i have heard Didn't hear anything on any engine or transmission upgrades just cosmetics
