That's right, Dishman Dodge in Spokane is going to continue the super deal on all new ordered 05 trucks! $1,000 under Dealer Invoice! and you still get the rebates!

Ask for Butch at Dishman Dodge in Spokane. You have to tell him, "Big Bob" sent you in order to get the deal!

Here is his email address : -- email address removed --

His phone number is 800-457-6500.

I'm just passing on a great deal. I'm not affliated with this Dealership in any way!

Do they have an affiliate dealership in a border state or something? How can they order the CA option, being in WA?

All the 600 now have the CARB certification on them. That is all California is looking for.

thats news to me... I will have to wait until I see one to believe it, you know how dodge is... say one thing and do another

Hmmmmm. Im not sure how much below Dealer price my 04 was but with a window sticker of $41+ and my out the door (no sales tax) price of $33, with the $2500 rebate, I feel I got a fair deal. That was at Lithia. I had a quote for the exact same equipped truck from Dave Smith and Lithia came within a few hundred bucks and 800 miles closer to home. I then added the Chrysler 7/100,000 zero deduct warranty. I plan to keep this truck for quite some time. Mine is a 04 555/305 HO

Well, I just got off the phone with Butch at Dishman Dodge. Here's the deal:

1. 2005's are *supposed* to come with a CARB sticker. This is supposed to nullify the requirement of having to order border state emissions. However, he admitted that there's no way to verify this at this time and he does not recommend ordering a 2005 for CA import without ordering the CA emissions package, which is still ONLY available from border states.

2. Pricing info is "supposed" to be available in the first week of July. My guess and his is that this should probably coincide with the ending date that DC set for the current $2500 rebate (7/6/04). We can only hope that other important info will be released at that time, including verification of #1 above, and whether new rebates will be issued.

3. When BIG BOB said "and you still get the rebates", it basically means whatever rebates are in effect for the 2005's when you take delivery, if any. Butch just confirmed this with me, and indicated they NEVER know what the rebates will be, until they ARE.

4. Looks like I'm waiting until July to order... :{

I took advantage of the 04. 5 ordering and it should arrive next monday 06/28. Butch is a wonderful person to work with. Has kept me up to date on the progress and then they called and wanted to know if I wanted additional things added on, like tinted windows, wheel well liners, sprayed in bed liner, undercoating, etc. Very professional organization and well organized and customer care is #1.

Thanks Big Bob for the referral. Mayby I'll see you driving around when I pull through Idaho.

Heh . . . I think Dave Smith Motors is feeling the heat from a little competition. They have been advertising incessantly here the last month or two!! They've been running hyped-up ads loudly proclaiming their status as the "World's Largest Dodge Dealer" :rolleyes: Butch & Dishman Dodge might have something to do with this with a little help from Big Bob :)

In reference to the rebates, I had always ment the rebates at time of order that applied to the vehicle. It is my understanding that you are locked in on rebates at time of order and if they improve prior to you taking posession, you will get the better of the two rebates.

This is true, but there are no rebates on 2005 trucks right now, only 2004 trucks, so if you order a 2005, you don't get the $2500 rebate (unless it goes into effect between now and delivery) because that's specified for 2004 models. Hopefully when 7/6 rolls around, they'll expand the rebates to apply to the 2005. :)

Blair,

PM or email me when you are coming to Spokane. I work in Spokane about 10 minutes from Dishman. I would like to meet you if you get here before July 2nd. That's when Kathy and I leave for a vacation to the Redwoods, Oregon Coast and Sisters, Oregon. We will be gone for 17 days. :D

The CARB on the right col. of the sticker is one thing... the line at the bottom is another... it says "this engine conforms to California regulations for the 2004 year"... If you don't have THAT, yer skiiirrroooooooo'd :{

Dave Smith orders with "YCF" and he's not in a border state.

let me tell you what my zone rep told me about this...

His Rep rep is the same one for california... So when the Full HD allocation is not used up, the zone rep has to build a number of truck and then pawns them off the dealers... Well the REP builds them with the calif. emmisions package to be able to pawn them in his state, but then he also pawns them to the largest US dealer- Dave smith...

Notice all the DAVE smith calif. trucks are copys of eachother... like they were mass ordered (what the rep does when he has 200 trucks to order... mass order with only color changes)

thats the truth I believe

I DO NOT believe dave smith can just "order" a "ycf" package like anything else... BUT the rep can "accedently" build it and then switch it to Dave smith's inventory, i guess

anyway, back to sleep with me

I bought my wonderful 04. 5 from Butch at Dishman. I ordered it special for me. I have bought many cars but Dishman Dodge was the first car store I ever actually relaxed in. Unbelievable service. Straight shooters. Way cool. $1000 under dealer invoice, WA Farm Bureau $500 plus another $500 for something I traded back for zero interest for 4 years. Treated like royalty the whole time. Had a nice drive back to Mount Vernon. I LIKE my truck. George

Since this is BTT, might as well mention... just put in an '05 order today and it has code B66 California PPA/EBPF -- $210. Now, if they were all CA compliant, why would we have to pay $210 for a CA sticker? I think we're still screwed...
