'05 Fast Idle at start-up this morning.

I love this truck! Fired her up this morning and waited about 2. 5 - 3 minutes (judging from the amount of my cigarette I had smoked). All of a sudden, she worked her way up to 1000 rpm! Oo. Cool! It is nice to know that this came set from the factory and I don't have to ask a dealer to turn it on.



Overhead said it was 34*, but I suspect it was mid 20s, because everything was really white like snow.

All thrid gen trucks have this from the factory. when it gets REAL cold, like in the teens, the truck will instantly go high idle upon startup.



The TSB high idle, is one that you can manually turn on with the cruise control buttons, and from what I understand can pick your own rpm... . only available on the 04 305/555 trucks.

Hope you dont mind If I got a laugh out of that. Real cold and teens, to me, aint the same thing. Come spring teens are tshirt weather round these parts.



P. S. We need 1200 rpms to keep the cab warm. Not 1000.
