Hi, New to the board. Have 05 3500, 4X4, Singles, Auto, Edge/Attitude, DPP replacement muffler. 23,000 miles. My question: Has anybody experienced the fuel gauge not dropping in proporiton to the fuel used. This happened on my last tank, showed slightly more than 1/2 at empty. Thanks, Dave

This problem was common with 2 gen trucks. I allways kept my tank full and when i would go on an extended road trip i would notice the gauge not moving. After 200 miles it would pop loose and settle where it supposed to.

I always cleared the trip meter when filling up just in case.

My 05 hasn't done that yet , but haven't driven it much either so time will tell. :D
