05 gauge install?

I'm going to be installing gauges myself on my 05. Could somebody tell me which wire to tap for the dimmer controls for the gauges. I have an 05 shop manual and here is what it lists for the pin-outs. Not sure if it's 3 or 6, but I'm thinking that it's either one.

On my 05 there was 2 orange wires with a brown tracer, one went to the dome light the other was the dimmer switch. Use a test light to find out which one is which, and for power I tapped into a (if memory serves me right) a pink wire leading from the cigerette lighter.

I used the dimmer for the a/c controls since they are right there. Used the meter to verify the right one after viewing the wiring diagram.

Big P, I can't remember which pin # it is but if you're facing the dash it's on the bottom row, closest to the door.
