Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Anyone had actual mpg increase with fuel additive?

Has anyone lowered a 2500 4x4?

Just got an 05... question on guages (boost, EGT,... )...

Do you need them on a stock truck... other than to monitor shutdown temps?

Where's the best location on an 05? I like the pilliar mounts from what I've seen, but I also like my grab bar!

Who makes the best combo guage, where do you get it?

How much, where to get it installed... .

Any maintenance requred?

If you like the handle then get the SRT-10 single A pillar with the combo boost/EGT gauge. I miss the handle but LOVE havin the info. Good luck!

You should consider the BD X-Monitor from Genos garage... . Just installed in my 05 this past weekdend... . mounts on A Pillar... does not interfer with grab handle... . digital readout... for ext temp... . turbo bost... and fuel pressure. Very pleased so far.

I vote for the cubby hole. Looks like stock and very easy to read. Wouldn't be w/o guages on a CTD. Doc :D

If you have a full size cubby hole in the center console this is another option.

Where did you get the trim piece that fits in the cubby hole? Geno's has one, but it looks different then yours...

autometer makes it. autometer part number is 15021 anyone who sells autometer products should be able to get it for you [and genos should have it as well]

Okay. . I see it in the Geno's catalog... Doesn't quite look the same as yours, but it must be the photo. I wonder why it says that modifications to the trim piece may be required if other gauges (non autometer) are used? What so special about a 2" autometer gauge? Doesn't sayit will fit the 2005, and mine is still on order. Don't even remember if there is a cubby hole in the 2005 or if it is the same. Also may be different if it is an auto or manual transmission... Thanks...

Yes, there is a cubby hole like the 03-04. The only way the cubby hole on yours would be different would be if you ordered the electric controls for the transfercase instead of the manual control on the floor. The electric controls are placed on the left side of the cubby hole.

some other brands gauges might be a little over 2" [even though autometer says their gauges are 2 1/16", they are only 2" across in the mounting, others i have seen can get up to 2 1/8" in the mounting... ]
