05 has a mind of its own

My 05 radio/cd player tries to change cd's after I start it, cycling for several seconds. No cd's are in it and the player hasn't had any sound for 6 mo's. The clock changes time and the doors will randomly lock me out. My edge juice w/attitude shuts off then turns back on while driving. I put new batteries in 4 mo's ago. Any ideas?

sounds like an auxillary switched power source that they are all sharing is dropping out. Try un plugging the head unit and see if all the other items act right.

Could be a bad ground? If it is good luck finding it. Might be easier making a few new ones to see what it does?

I would clean the battery connections and see if that is the quick fix.
