05 Headlight adjustment???

My headlights are very low, I already agisted the fog lights up this helped, I ran over a deer the other day, truck was 2 days old, couldn't see her till it was to late,deer was already prekilled, truck didn't touch her, but I can't find anyway to adjust them up???

Hey Gas Man,



If it's the same as the 03- 04. 5 then there is a little rod that runs from the front of the light to the back on the side closest to the grill. You should be able to adjust it there... tighten to raise and loosen to lower.

I tried adjusting mine and did not see much diff.

2,500 pounds of pin weight from the gooseneck trailer raised my headlights to the point where I was getting flashed even with them on low beam...

Hey Les,

That is exactly my problem when towing the fiver. I can't see adjusting the lights every time I hitch or unhitch, so I avoid towing at night. Good reason to pull over early.



Ive been contemplating installing some air bags over the rear axles to raise it back up a tad when "Cowboying" Oo. as that loser Robert Blake calls it *LOL*



Wondering if the new hollow frame would hold up to the bags or if they would void my warranty. Anyone know if air bag suspension lift is viable on an 04?
