05 Injection Pump Failed

While changing my oil I noticed a fluid leak on the driver's side of the engine near the front. It was fuel. Took it to the dealer and they said it was the injection pump. Just under 15k miles. They ordered a new part and will replace it under warranty.

The dealer said that this is not uncommon. I read somewhere on this forum that Bosch has an upgraded pump. I hope so.

I had a cp-3 replaced on my truck also... There is an upgraded pump now. The old ones had a tendancy to leak, especially when it is cold outside. . No problems as of yet. 10k
