05 Intercooler Change

I am planning on replacing my plastic intercooler this weekend with a new factory aluminum cooler if the UPS man shows up on time. Can anyone tell me if the AC condenser can be moved out of the way enough to get the cooler out or do I have to remove the lines from the condenser and get my AC recharged?

Did you have to buy that intercoooler? or did they run it under warrenty?

Yes I had to pay for it because my plastic cooler is still OK. I am also going to install the Edge Juice/Attitude this weekend and I just don't what to have to worry about the plastic cooler when I'm along way from home towing my boat in the very hot summer.

Where did you purchase it? What kinda price?

I got it from Lithia Dodge of Billings Mt. I payed $550 for it but was quoted $480 from other dealers that did not have one to verify that it was alum. Part# on the box is 05170704AC

I'd love to sell my aluminum intercooler for around $350. Perfect condition.



I'd take the money and offset some of the cost of a Banks Techicooler. I think you can get the cooler alone for around $800ish or the complete kit with hoses and the HighRam intake for around $1,100ish.



The Banks cooler and ram are about the only Banks products I would like to have.
