'05 Mileage update.

Here are my mileage stats on the '05 so far:



Fueled up on 10/15/2004 netting hand calculated mileage of 15. 03. Overhead read about 17. 8



Fueled up on 10/19/2004 netting hand calculated mileage of 16. 63. Overhead read about 17. 8. Reset overhead on 10/19/2004 at the time of fill-up. It has been reading about 16. 4 - 16. 8 since the reset.



Color me happy! Oo. This ain't bad for a 4X2 6 speed dually QuadCab with 3. 73s. My '99 averaged about 15. 4 hand calculated over it's life. Not as good as those running 20+mpg, but that is luck... not a realistic expectation. If mine stays around 15 - 16 I will be happy and if it goes on up, I will be really happy! Oo. Oo.



I love the truck and she is running like a champ. Appears to have more power than my '99 that has the EZ box. Towing is where I will be able to tell for sure and that should happen in the next week or so. I love the space of the QC, not too little and not too much. I love the 6 speed compared to the 5 speed of the '99. It is easy to tell that the 6 speed was built for towing... the gear spacing does not get any better for towing.

Don't tease me Klenger. I hope to get the B&W installed today and a trailer hooked up this weekend. I have a little over 600 miles on it as of this morning. Oo.
