Archived 05 No Power, No Turbo Whine

05 CTD, 45,000mi Driving on interstate (pulling 6k trailer),re-fuel,pull out of truck stop to get on highway,loud pop/hiss in eng. compartment right side, no power and cannot hear turbo whine,idles and sounds fine,just no power!

took air intake off and turbo looks fine and can see it spin freely. We do hear a deep whistle/muffle from right side dash under load. Is it safe to drive to limp back home? Is this a possible bad waste gate. Any help is appreciated

Intercooler hose blown off or hole in intercooler. hope this helps.

From what I could see,all hoses were on and no tears. It does have the plastic intercooler but I did not see any cracks
