Saturday night went to the street legal drags. There was only one other diesel powered truck. Stock 2005 F350 crewcab 4X4 w/6. 0 and auto.



I actually thought it would have been closer then it was. The Ford was no match. I easily beat him by 2-3 truck lengths. I think the guy was even embarrassed. He didn't even make another run the rest of night. I guess it didn't help that he had his 5 buddies there watching. He said he hit 80 mph to my 88 mph at the end of the quarter. With all the talk of Fords new transmission, I would have thought it would have been a closer race.



Doesn't the Powerstroke have more rated HP (325) than my measly 270? :-laf

I've always heard HP sells trucks Torque wins races with 755 ft lbs the Ford was no match. Also, I think Ford overrates their trucks I've never been impressed with any Ford I ever drove.
