my 05 ram has 2805650 miles ,had a leak at the hose on the fass fuel pump at the tank out to the cp3 so I fixed that, and found fuse blown at the fast pump fixed that. the truck started good no more long crank start. (10 year old hose ?) then 20 miles later fuel dripping at the injector pump, constantly when running . not from return line.could it be the shutoff on the back of the pump due to the increase in pressure ??can not see anyplace from underneath. any hints?? Stick an exta 0 in the 2850650 mileage? At almost 3 million miles you should have replaced it several times.

These pumps leak over time, there are o-rings between the body pieces that are aluminum and cast iron. Clean it up and try to see if you can pinpoint the leak better.

sorry 285,650 is right the doors would have fallen off .thanks will do when the wind stops it was not leaking when the fuse was blown, but it ran after long crank start?

Ebay is not the place to buy rebuilt critical components like a CP-3. If it craters it will destroy all your injectors, rail, etc. Couple of things you want to buy new, injectors and CP-3. If you MUST buy reman on those items then go thru someone with a track record and warranty, TC Diesel is a good choice.

dealer part is 2000.00 plus install. and said if I had a pump tray would install but no guarantee on pump. I will tc diesel.been too busy to check where its leaking thanks will let you know. driving the 95 2500 WOW.

An OE CP-3 is around $1000 new, dealer is obnoxiously high markup. Less than $2k gets you a stroker pump that flows more fuel. Do some searching first.
