05 sputters when shut off!!

Today my 05 started to sputter real bad when shut off. It almost seems to me like the fuel rail is still sending fuel to the injectors even though the key has been turned off. It does it about 3 to 5 seconds then quits can anyone help me please driving me crazy and i am trying to sell the truck. Thanks

What's your oil level like? If an injector is leaking that bad I would expect quite a bit of fuel in the oil.

Any rough idling, excessive smoke, or hanging throttle? Sounds like it could be injectors, but you would be getting alot of other symptoms if it was dumping that much fuel to keep the engine sputtering after shut down. Any fuel knocking, fuel in the oil?

yeah it has some knock to it, im actually out of town and my girlfriends brother was the one who actually told me about the problem, guess i need to have them check the oil, thanks i will keep posted of what happens
