Archived 05 will not shut down with key off

This is my son's truck, an 05. Last night it wouldn't shut down with the ingition key off. Engine and gages stayed alive.

He took the switch apart and it looked good.

He had to disconnect one of the harbesses on the firewall to shut it down.

Thoughts?

He has a TST box installed. . been in for a couple of years. . could this be part of the problem?

By the way he owns an auto repair shop but he couldn't figure this out. . he's wondering if this is a common occurrance????

Does the truck have a turbo timer feature with the TST or separately?

that is so funny, my buddy has the basic tst with out the turbo timer and it started doing the same thing. another buddy has the turbo timer so we took it off his truck and put it on to see if the timer was activated and it wasn't, called tst and they are running my buddy around in circles, another reason why Im starting to hate tst, their customer service sucks and we have had so many problems with the chips its not worth buying them

speaking of turbo timer, shouldn't it kill the engine if you press the brake pedal or something, on my buddies nothing would kill the motor except unpluggin the tst.
