06 2-3 Suffle w/Suncoast V/B how do you fix this

2006 Mega Cab has Edge Hot with Exhaust and Afe intake. Put a converter in and a SunCoast Valve Body. Now the the truck does a 2nd to 3rd gear shuffle bad when lite on the go pedal. When driving threw town you have to shift to 2nd to to keep from getting whiplash. Has anyone had this or know how to fix this problem. The dealer has done everything they can for me. Thanks in advance... .

Call Suncoast

This is likely an easy fix, possible involving removing the VB and replacing a valve or something. Don't worry, just call, you'll get her straightened out.

I hadthe same problem on ,my 05. J and h diesel put in a different shift spring and a different TV spring and it fixed it completely. Call Joel at J and H he is very smart! Steve

Sounds like the shift springs are too light for the pressure being seen by the VB. There are replacement 1-2 and 2-3 shift springs that help a lot of these hunting problems.

Change 1-2 and 2-3 shift springs to extend gear shift point. Mine shift at about 2000 rpm every time, holds 2nd gear until 39 mph every time.

Called SunCoast, Told me to replace Govenor Solinode and Pressure Transducer. Hope this solves the problem.

So, replaced all the parts that SunCoast told me to and the truck drove the same. Called today and talk to the dodge trans tech at SunCoast. Took out TV valve and cut one coil off the TV vavle spring and now truck drives perfect.
