06 48RE Cruise control problems

Hello and thanks in advance.



I have an 06 and there are two things that bug me about the cruise control.



1. While accelerating to say 60mph, if I had the cruise on and last set to sixty, and I resume from about 40 mph, the truck downshifts and revs to near the redline... It takes forever to hit sixty and doesn't feel at all normal.



2. With the cc engaged going down a descent hill, the truck bucks pretty badly, like it is locking and unlocking the tc. I can't tell if that's what it is, but it is uncomfortable.



If anyone has had this problem let me know, it seems odd that it is all based around the cruise control.

As far as going from 40 back to preset speed that is pretty much normal. my D-max (both of them) did the same thing and other vehicles as well. My D-max would engage/disengage tcc on declines but not really buck. I have not had my new truck in cruise going downhill to find out if it does but when I do I will let you know.
