I ran across this post on the Cummins forum about how to repair the coil on 06 and above compressor on the diesel without having to replace the whole compressor.

Also worth noting. Autozone has a clutch tool rental for the clutch removal for $25. If you return it they refund the full amount. If you want to keep it, the rental is its cost.
