06 Brake pedal is not releasing completely

06 3500 6-speed I tow with this thing all the time and am having a problem with the pedal not coming all the way out when i let off. The truck brakes release but it stays in just enough to keep the tailer brakes engaged. I have to pull the pedal out with my ffot to get it to release. Just curious if anybody has any ideas about this.

Hate to say this but mine did the same thing. I was out away somewhere and wanted to correct it immediately, so I put a temporary fix on it (small bungie cord on the pedal secured to something solid under the dash). It's worked so well I forgot all about it! I'll have to take it to the dealer and have them look at it. No more problems with brakes not releasing with the bungie though.

My 06 dually 4x4... ... same thing. I park my 5th wheel RV and the brake lights and RV brakes are on. Doesn't happen often, I just put my foot under pedal and pull up.
