Well, we got our first rains down here for the winter in So Cal today and headed out to work this morning to find a water leak coming out of the driver side "Oh S**t" handle/A-pillar attachment upper access hole. Anyone else had this happen?? Weather stripping? Windsheild leak?

It may be a conicidence but at times when it is really windy going down the freeway I get a lot of wind noise coming from the same area, probably from the weather stripping for the door. Could be related?

I just washed the truck this past weekend and it didn't leak then, so I am stummped how this just happened out of the blue. Truck has been through last winter's rains and tons of washes as well with no leaks.

It is still under warranty for another 80K miles, so I will probably be taking it to the dealer, but wanted to see if anyone knows what this could be before I have them attempt to fix it.

Thanks! Joe

No, I do not have the clearance lights but I do have the sun roof. Sorry forgot to mention that cuz I too read about those leaks.

I doubt it is coming from the sunroof cuz I heard those rare leaks drip down from the back of the slider.

This one looked like it was coming through the door weather stripping but not sure, hopefully someone can give me a possible cause.

Thanks, Joe

The only leak I have had was from the rear slider window.

I had it replaced with a solid one and have not had any problems since.

Well, I think I may have mysteriously fixed it.

After I arrived at work this morning I had given the outer door seal a bit of a push into place and felt a few parts of it kind of "slip/snap" back in. It was still raining all morning and when I went to lunch it had not been leaking anymore. I messed with the seal a bit more and got it to leak again, so I believe it is the door seals, but now I need to decide whether to take it into the dealer to have them replaced or if I should just leave it alone.

I think I will wait in the meantime to see if anyone else chimes in with this same problem.

I never used the rear slider on my '99. Deleted it from my '07 and no clearance lights also. Less things for Dodge to mess up.
