06 cat removal (MBRP)

I have MBRP duals. I love the sound, However if I remove the cat will it sound better?! I dont want it too loud. I noticed the 03-04 kit is turbo back. My 06 kit is cat back. Can I just order the muffler foward pieces seperatly. This way if it is too loud I can put it back

You should be able to order a "cat test pipe" to replace the cat. I got mine from DPP. I removed the cat when I installed the MBRP, so I can't really comment as to how it will sound with vs. without.
