'06 CD player in '98?

Do the '06 cd players fit in the 2nd gens? If so do they plug right in or do you need an adapter?

The mounting of the radio is completely different, and the 06 radio is larger. If you are talking about the cd changers, then also no, the communication protocol that the radio recognizes is also different.
