06 Commonrail wiring

I am building my wiring harness and I am having issues with the OBD plug, I have a factory wiring diagram and a mitchell plus one that someone sent me and they are all different!!! My engine is a 06 manual trans so if anyone can help me find the correct diagramit would be great. the local dodge guys are idiots and have no interest in helping, they wont even reflash my ecm because it is illegal even though the vin code i need to use is from a totaled truck out of warranty, they claim it is illegal to disable the anti theft!!!!.

I am anxious to see how this implant goes, as I have been thinking of the same for my truck some day. If I ever find a CR cheap enough, I might go that route and put the 24v in my work van, if I can get it to fit.

try to find a 06 computer that has no skim (anti theft) ,find a vin with the options you want ,at,manual ,no skim,etc,then cummins will program it ,but charges 225. they just need the ecm by itself and the vin.

i have a 2005 ecm no skim ,with wiring. pm if interested.

I dont know any thing about the 3rd gen engines but i have an idea that makes since.





Rather than fool around with the dodge computer .



Why not contact cummins and use a computer from them or have them re flash one to there specs .



They sale the engine for multiple aplications there for the computer is engine mounted of which would mean just a wire to power up the computer



from the ignition switch not all the anti theft items and polution issues .

Thank's guys for all the help, The painless harness is great but even at my cost it's a grand!! they use the stock ecm flashed w/o the skim so I know if they can do it so can I. I have contacted Bob Wagner at smarty and he is is flashing a restore program into a Smarty that will delete the skim. I have my harnes done and was able to fire the motor but would only run fo 30 sec at a time. I get my smarty on wednesday and will flash my ecm and be good to go. I still am concerned with motormount issues, by my measurements a left 24v mount and a right 12v mount should allow me to bolt the motor in place of the 12v, guys are telling me it wont work but my measurement say otherwise, and I have measured about 2200 times!!! will find out this weekend???

THANK-YOU!! I downloaded the factory manual that has these diagrams but it is the COMPLETE manual and is 9600 pages!! this made it much simpler by seperating them, thank's again Kruise!!
