06 Dead, no power?

Tried to start my 06 3500 with manual and everything is dead. No power. The red security light on dash was on. It was not blinking, on all the time. I disconnected the batteries and then reconnected. The red security light went off but still no power. Have appointment Monday at Dealer but would like to know if anyone has had this happen. Thanks for any help.

When you say no power what exactly do you mean. Does not crank over or no lights on cluster with key on, no radio etc? Headlights or emergency flashers? Do you know what the battery voltage is on both batteries?

Problem solved. One battery was dead. These Mopar batteries are only 1 1/2 years old. So didn't think that was problem. Replaced battery and alls well. Thanks for reply.

I can happen at any time. I bought two new NAPA batteries and one was dead (shorted) from the start.
