06 eng light on NEED HELP

Removed The Cat On My 06 5000 Miles Ago And The Eng. Light Came On Today But It Does Not Display Any Codes. How Can I Reset Eng Light With Out Going To Dealer... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ..... 2006 Dually 6spd. Superchip Flashpac... ... ... .....

The price we pay... ... . when we play. The newer vehicles have to be cleared with a scan tool. The 06 needs a can bus capable machine. If the code is active it must be repaired to put the light out. Make a friend at the dealer

The Superchip Flashpac Does Not Read Any Codes And Yes It Is Advertiesed As Having The Capability. Is It Normal That Eng. Light Can Come On Without Setting A Code ?

You tried the key off and on 3 times to search for codes? Does that still work on 06's?

The Flashpaq does read and erase codes. You have to get the updates for the Flashpaq off the internet.

yes the 06 still has the 3 key cycle to read codes

have you tried the 3 cycle thing? doesn't work on my 06. tried 5 plus times. nothing.
