I've got about 2K miles on my '06. When I first bought it the clutch operation (taking off) was smooth for the first 200 miles or so. Since then it is very "grabby" while letting clutch out taking off. Once I get going it is very smooth (no shutter). It seems worse when backing, it will actually start hopping while backing a trailer on gravel. Anybody else having this problem? Everything else is good (getting about 18-20 MPG, 35% city/65%hwy). Appreciate the help.

My NV5600 did the same at about 20K. Turns out it was not even completely broken in. I once accidentally stalled the engine in 3rd gear trying to start up a very steep (15%, over an embankment) hill tinking I was in 1st. Smelled like burned clutch for a few seconds. It's been smooth ever since, it's at 50k now.

So, do one or two 3rd gear starts and see if that fixes it. It needs a little breaking in.
