06 heavy at 7620 pounds

i had my truck on the scale today. with me in the truck 7620 lbs. full tank and some stuff in the back seat. my pay load is not very good for a 2500 truck. now my full load was 10,600. ! kp

My dually runs just under 12,000 lbs. every day! I can't remember how much diesel I had in the tank when the friendly DPS officer had me follow him to the scale!

Mine runs just a little over 7200. It sure is a nose heavy son of a gun.

My little short bed weighs 8300 with me in the cab, a full tank of fuel and toolbox. Rides better now that it's heavier. Doesn't hop all over the road.

Ya thats about right, I know with fuel myself and one other person and my tools i am right up at 9000 mark. And when the truck is empty with no tools or anything wow does it ride rougher but its also alot quicker.
