06 impressions

I stopped at the dealer today to see if they had any '06 models in. They had a few. I find I actually like the front slighly more, the grille seems a little more angular instead of roundy, which is the direction they should have went with the truck in the first place. The headlights seem to curve back into the fender too much, I don't know why this is such a popluar styling cue, look at several other models the new camry for one the tail lights round diagional heavy into the quarter panel. I don't like the styling fad, to me it looks ridiculos, but its definatly a direction alot of car makers are going.



As for the interior, I kinda like the fake wood, the dash texture is a step down makes it look cheap, I also don't like the center vents being on each side of the radio, i like both to blow on me LOL. as for the factory cloth seats what was DC thinking, they are aweful!!! they look like something you would see in the ST model. between the cloth seat, the headlights that teardrop into the fender, and the terrible gearing with the 6speed, there is not much to get excited about. almost enough to consider another brand heaven forbid, but prolly not, In my case I don't think its worth it to buy a 1 or 2 year old truck, because in the end you loose out plus the trucks don't depreciate enough in that time for me, so I guess I will just suck it up

looked at one myself last week,dont like the seats at all,made me glad i didnt wait and get a 06,between the interior,the g56 transmission and and them big headlights,glad i got a 05. .
