06 low power

I recently bought an 06 ,have not updated my sig. yet will do soon, The CTD runs great but on take off from a stop light and slow speeds 35-40mph it seems that it takes alot of throttle to get it going and the go pedle seems not very responsive. My question is do I go to the dealer? Live with it or put a Quadzilla ZXT on it? I don't haul or pull much so I don't need anything massive or costly. Just looking for alittle more. BHOLM added that I might try the small non adjustable Quadzilla ,Thanks for the info Brent, just didn't know if I needed to go to the dealer first thanks in advance... Brian

Congrats on the truck. Welcome to Torque Management. The way I understand it is the computer is waiting on 12lbs of boost before fueling. This reduces black smoke. Can't comment on the Quad. I'm running the Smarty. The Smarty allows the engine to wake up off the line.

I own several trucks, and on more than once we've found loose connections on the pressure side of the intake system..... to the point where we lost boost and had poor performance.....

In 2 cases we had the trucks at the dealer for warranty work, they left the clamps loose... .

Just my thoughts...
