'06 radio install question.

I have an '06 with the Infinity sound system without nav. that I would like to hop up. I am planning on leaving the stock radio alone as it looks the best in the dash but replacing every thing elso.



What I am looking for right now is a wiring diag. of how the radio in my rig is wired. I just ordered some 6 1/2" MB Quart replacements for the front doors and will be doing away with the center speaker in the dash for now.



This brings up a second question, how do I go about pulling the doors apart to install the speakers/dynomat and also the dash to get too the stock tweeter locations?

No one has any helpful hints on ripping the dash or doors apart?

Doors aren't too bad.



I had to replace a seal around the window on an 05 so I had the window glass out.



The door panels I believe have 2 bolts at the very bottom and maybe one behind the handle. The handle itself also has a bolt that has to be taken out to get the handle out.



Once you remove the bolts the door panel lifts up. There are some molded retainer type things that are in a slot in the sheet metal. You are lifting up to release those.



It is really very simple. If you have to remove the plastic water dam just be careful to keep the glue clean and you should be able to reuse it (I did).



I am assuming the water dam can stay in place and the speaker will just have 3-4 screws and a plug in connector.

Thanks for the info on the door panels. Now I just need to figure out how to remove the dash panel to get too the dash speakers.

If you are referring to the dash panel closest to the window it will pop up with a screwdriver. It is only held in with retaining clips.
