Does anyone have these with there trucks. How do they connect? will it interfere with a 5th wheel hitch on the frame?DSM want 125 installed seems ok price

I had mine installed by dealer-----I think it was a 15 minute job and they charged me $30. They connect with screws if I remember--------I did it on my 03. I am not sure about the 5th wheel hitch.

You may have to remove them to install the hitch, I had to when I put in my Reese signature series hitch, they should not cause any interference problem once the hitch is installed though. They are pretty easy to install and remove and put back on if needed.

I have not looked at them closely, but I think the new brackets I got for my Reese hitch on the 06 get installed the inside of the frame rail. Some day I will get to install them.

I have always thought about putting wheel wells onto my trucks but never had a real good reason, Until I pulled the Dually into the heated garage after driving in the snow. Major Flood! At least with the wheel well liners there is less places for the snow to collect to while driving causing less flood in the garage.

The signature series has the rails sitting on top of the frame, there are two plates that get bolted to the outside wall of the frame on each side and the rails bolt to that. It is different from the regular Reese hitches, it also does not have any protrusions in the bed when the hitch is removed.

I install B&W gooseneck hitches and have removed and replaced the wheel well liners on an 05 to install the hitch. Adds about 15 minutes to the install. I have only seen one truck with them, it sure suprised me, as I did not kno they are an option. seemed to be plenty of room for my hitch, but might cause trouble with air bags.
