06 seat rebuild

Just removed and replaced the bottom foam on my drivers seat and what a difference.

I had did some repair last year with carpet and foam but it wasn't ever any good.

A decent deal at genos about 99. 00 and 25 min install.

Wish i did it sooner.

Feels like a new truck now

Was the new foam better than when the rig was new? I have been trying to add more comfort to my seat. I have added different foam in addition to factory 3 different times, haven't hit the spot yet. Even have real sheep skin covers.

I litterally did the same thing this weekend.

The feel is factory. I believe its just the same as the OE pad. But my but is loving it! Boy it was hurting, lol!!

Mine never was worth a crap. I was hoping you would say the new stuff is an improvement over stock.

Does anyone know a good place to get the seat skins? Mine has a hole in it. I'm not looking for a cover. I want to replace what is already there when I replace the foam.

I am interested in the Katskins leather replacements... THinking that may be a better choice for me. Anyone bought/installed any of those yet?. . Apparently you can get them with a gel insert to make the seat even more comfortable!!.

I got the Katskins the day I bought her, wish I had the gel options, holding up well to kids and dogs.
