06 sometimes hard to start and rough idle

my 06 every now and then has to crank awhile before starting up. I have changed filters, and it does not matter if you just killed it or if it has set a day or two. The batteries are new and good and the starter is good. once it is running it seems to idle a little rough. If you rev to about 850 or 900rpms it is almost like a dead miss. Other than that runs great tow 12000k regularly no problem. had a programmer for about 15000m but this was pre existing all stock now. any help or info would be greatly appreciated?

Hard starting, running rough is symptom of bad injectors or FCA. You can put 2 cans of ashless outboard oil in the fuel tank if it runs better it is the FCA. If it doesn't have your injectors tested.

any update. I am going through the same thing with my 06 right now, hard starts and when i rev it to 2000 it has a miss that is very noticable. I am about to pick some injectors but i want to test all my fuel pressures first.

update. The oil has helped, I guess, I have not had any more hard starts since I added the oil I guess the FCA was acting up. I have not replaced it yet, it has been running so well I hate to mess with a good thing. I hope you get it fixed.
