Got a intermittent nuiscance of an issue. My 06 will stall out pretty much at an idle when typically backing up with the wheel cranked one way or the other... RPM's at 750. Belt or idle issue? Seems to be a load put on the serpentine to cause stall-out from what I assume could be the pwr steering pump. Anyone else have similar issue? Thanks.

The belt would burn off before the engine stalled. Look for wiring that may be moved or contacted before looking too hard at the steering. Don't overlook the crank sensor.
